Speech Coaching
Something is keeping you from communicating as your confident self. I’m here to help you change that.
On the surface, speech coaching is about crafting and delivering words with clarity. But underneath, it’s about courage, presence, and breaking through the stories that hold you back. Together, we’ll combine proven voice science with narrative coaching to help you speak with calm confidence, whether it’s for a keynote, an interview, or a high-stakes meeting.
You don’t have to change who you are to be heard. My role is to help you sound like yourself, at your very best.

Workshops
At Pronounced, we design workshops that spark awareness, build practical communication skills, and leave participants with tools they can use right away. Each workshop blends speech science, coaching, and story to create meaningful change.
What’s in a Name?
A workshop to foster inclusion through names
Names are at the heart of identity. Yet too often, they’re mispronounced, dismissed, or avoided entirely—leaving colleagues feeling unseen and undervalued. In this three-hour workshop, participants learn how speech sounds are formed and practice hearing and pronouncing unfamiliar names with care and confidence.
Through real examples, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of why names matter, how mispronunciations can perpetuate exclusion, and how small shifts in effort can create profound feelings of belonging.
What you’ll take away:
Skills to confidently attempt and pronounce unfamiliar names
A stronger foundation in listening and speech awareness
Tools to create more inclusive, respectful workplaces
This workshop is offered in partnership with Sarra Ismail, a training professional with over 15 years of experience in multicultural workspaces, who brings unique insight and lived experience to the session.
A practical workshop for professionals who need better stories at work
You know storytelling is powerful—but how do you actually find the stories worth telling? In this interactive two-hour session, you’ll discover techniques to uncover, shape, and share stories that make your message memorable and your communication more engaging.
Led by Mary Houle and Adele Fedorak, this workshop combines narrative coaching and storytelling expertise to help you:
Spot “story moments” in your daily life
Evaluate whether a story will land with your audience
Strengthen stories so they elevate—not distract from—your message
Expect lively discussion, hands-on practice, and immediate improvements in how you connect with colleagues and audiences.
StoryFinding Workshop
Katie Miller, Head of Impact, Mission 44
“They said it was very close but in the end I was the candidate who energized them the most. This was thanks to you Mary. I wouldn’t have been able to show my passion and energy if you hadn’t given me permission and the confidence to do so. I honestly can’t thank you enough.”
